I’m a huge proponent of a healthy work/life balance. I tell my sitters all the time how important it is to take time for themselves, get good sleep, and allow themselves time to recharge. In our industry, a level of self care is very important. Professional pet sitters are on the road, often 7 days a week. We suffer from burn out, compassion fatigue, and pulled muscles. We have high stress, long hours, often miss holidays, lack time with family and friends, and usually don’t have time to eat well.
With that, doing yoga at the Cape May County Zoo sounds pretty awesome! Maybe there’s a downward giraffe pose or something creative that I’ve never heard of before.
ItsWell Yoga heads up their Zoo Yoga classes with their next ones being held on March 7, June 6, and August 1.
Yoga classes at the Cape May County Zoo are from 8:45am – 10:00am. These are donation based classes with a donation suggestion of $20 and all donations go directly to the zoo!
Classes are located at the zoo – 707 N Route 9, Cape May Court House, New Jersey
Other Events Happening at the Zoo
