How to Take a Great Pet Photo
Here are some tips to getting the purrrfect pet picture!
Hold your camera vertically. While horizontal pictures work well if you are taking pictures of multiple pets, holding the
camera vertically for individual animals, can really make a picture pop. Make the subject the main focus of your picture,
not the background.
Fill the entire frame with your pet.
Move toward your pet or zoom in and fill the frame with your subject. Don't be afraid to get close.
3. Use natural lighting whenever possible. Outside photos usually turn out great! Try to avoid using a flash
as this can be frightening for your pet and may make their eyes look like they're glowing.
Use your tools! Cropping and lighting
adjustments within your camera tools can turn a "so-so" picture into an amazing photo!
Be Patient. Pets are notorious for turn their heads at just the right second. Take your time and shoot multiple
pictures. Most cameras have a "multi-shot" setting. You may be able to capture something wonderful!

Do Dental Chews Really Work?
A great place to start when selecting a dental chew with the
intent to reduce periodontal disease in your pets is to look for the VOHC Seal of Approval. The VOHC, Veterinary Oral Health
Council, puts its name behind products that meet their standards for control of plaque and tartar buildup in dogs and cats.
They are sort like the equivalent to our American Dental Association (ADA). Products that carry their seal show that regular
use of the product will reduce the severity of periodontal disease in your pets. Interested in checking out what products
have the seal? Check out their website at www.vohc.org/accepted_products.htm
